The university building at Oskar-Morgenstern-Platz 1 is home to the Faculty for Business, Economics and Statistics and the Faculty of Mathematics. The building, which has opened in 2013, was built in the 1960s and has since been completely revitalised. It houses numerous modern lecture halls, seminar and computer rooms, a library, break areas and communication zones, as well as a cafeteria and dining hall. A highlight is the Sky Lounge event room on the 12th floor, which includes a rooftop terrace with a panoramic view of the city of Vienna, the surrounding countryside and the Danube Canal local recreation area.
