Public transport

You can use underground, trams and buses to travel to the University of Vienna Biology Building.

You can reach the University of Vienna Biology Building using tram lines 18 (tram stop 'Viehmarktgasse') and 71 (tram stop 'St. Marx'), bus line 74A (bus stop 'Viehmarktgasse') and underground line U3 (station 'Schlachthausgasse').

Public transport runs every 3 to 10 minutes.
You can buy tickets at the airport, at every underground station, at tobacco shops (“Trafik”) or online.

Arrival by bike

You can also come to the University of Vienna Biology Building by bike. More than 100 bicycle parking spaces are available within 30 metres of the University of Vienna Biology Building.

In addition, WienMobil Rad, the bike-sharing service of Wiener Linien with 3,000 bikes and over 200 stations throughout the city, is available to you.


Arrival by taxi

Austria’s largest taxi dispatch centre 40 100 now also has a fleet of 'green taxis'. It comprises around 150 cars, including 130 hybrid cars, 20 taxis powered by natural gas and some diesel Euro 6 vehicles.
