Public transport
There are subways, streetcars and buses at your disposal.
We kindly ask you to travel by public transport in an environmentally friendly way. The Campus of the University of Vienna is barrier-free and can be reached on foot in a few minutes by tram lines 5 (Lazarettgasse and Lange Gasse stations), 43 and 44 (Lange Gasse station), 37, 38, 40, 41 and 42 (Schwarzspanierstrasse station), bus line 13A (Alser Straße/Skoda Gasse station) and underground line U2 (Schottentor station).
The intervals for public transport are between 3 and 10 minutes.
Tickets can be purchased online, at the airport or at any metro station and in tobacconists.

Arrival by bike
You can also come to the University of Vienna by bike. More than 100 bicycle parking spaces are available in front of the University of Vienna.
A bicycle repair stand is available on campus in courtyard 2 in front of the ÖH office (ÖH).
In addition, WienMobil Rad, the bike-sharing service of Wiener Linien with 3,000 bikes and over 200 stations throughout the city, is available to you.
Arrival by taxi
Austria’s largest taxi dispatch centre 40 100 now also has a fleet of 'green taxis'. It comprises around 150 cars, including 130 hybrid cars, 20 taxis powered by natural gas and some diesel Euro 6 vehicles.
