Hybrid meetings at the University of Vienna
Since the beginning of the pandemic and due to the resulting workplace restrictions, there has been a growing demand for rooms that are equipped with the necessary technology to hold hybrid meeting. The Conference and Event Management service unit of the University of Vienna has equipped five rooms at three university locations with suitable video conferencing technology, for the time being. This technology enables hybrid meetings with on site participation. From 1 January 2021 onwards, all organisational units of the University of Vienna can book these rooms via the Conference and Event Management service unit. The equipment installed in these rooms may only be used by trained staff of the Conference and Event Management service unit.
